NCM 7.1.1 - Wait 90 sec to exit a cmd script?

$

Howdy Folks

I have NCM job running to "Execute Command Script on Devices" for my cisco devices every night, the cmd is "copy run start".

NCM Config.png

The job log shows that Solarwinds was successful in running the script for my cisco device, Nexus 7010, IOS 5.2.9.

On my Nexus 7010 switch logs it shows that the script failed to save my switch config, this happens every night.

"2014 Jan 16 01:32:56 %SYSMGR-2-CFGWRITE_USER_ABORT: Configuration copy aborted by the user.

2014 Jan 16 01:32:56 %SYSMGR-3-CFGWRITE_FAILED: Configuration copy failed (error-id 0x401E0000)."

It takes 1 minute to save the config on the Nexus 7010.

Is there a way for me to set Solarwinds to wait longer, like 90 sec, before exiting the script?

Win a t-shirt! Looking for non-users of SeUM to give feedback on initial user experience

Hi,

The User Experience group is looking for people who do not currently use Synthetic End User Monitor, but may have an interest in doing so at some point in the future, to participate in a feedback session where you give your thoughts and opinions on the initial user experience of SeUM.

This will be a 90 minute time commitment the week of July 17 (any time Tuesday thru Friday of that week at your convenience, from 9am Central to 5pm Central).

We’ll spend some time on a GoToMeeting reviewing some initial tasks you might do on the product, but we’ll also leave a few minutes at the end for you to talk to members of the product team and provide feedback on any SolarWinds products.  And—we’ll throw in a cool t-shirt or other swag, too!

If you are interested, please email kellie.mecham@solarwinds.com with some dates and times that work for you.

Sorry—if you are currently working with sales, have downloaded an evaluation copy already, or have otherwise already seen Synthetic End User Monitor or interacted with it, we cannot schedule you for this round. The usual caveats apply: what we show you is a work in progress and is not a guarantee that what you see is what we will ship.

Thanks!

    • Summary views provide access to ingress/egress details on interfaces
    • Unmanaged Interface Events displays interfaces by name.
    • The Web Console displays a warning when the NeflowService service is stopped

    • Summary table indexing in the database and filtered querying from the application make this data more available to the user interface and reports.
    • CBQoS Poller enhancements - Orion NTA now performs its own polling, which increases both its performance and reliability. You can configure the polling interval or turn off CBQoS polling altogether, if needed, directly from the Web Console.

Note:CBQoS polling functions correctly in Orion NTA 3.7 if you have nested policies

  •
    • Depending on your specific monitoring requirements, for Top Applications, Top Endpoints, and Top Conversations, you can control the efficiency with which data is presented by selecting the number of listed items for which Orion NTA holds and works with data in memory.
  • Increased enterprise scalability - Orion NTA can concurrently monitor 1000 or more NetFlow sources.
  • Now FIPS GPO compatible, Orion NTA can now be installed on Windows Servers on which Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) are enabled
